ABOUT
Jay Bond is a Canadian film and television editor, producer, title designer, director, and post-production professional with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, he has built a diverse career spanning scripted and unscripted television, documentary, digital media, broadcast branding, and creative development.
His main title sequences and creative work have earned industry awards and recognition from organizations including SXSW, the Prix Gémeaux, and Art of the Title.
As an editor, he has contributed to a wide range of productions across multiple genres. His work includes editing productions with ground-breaking Canadian comedian and broadcaster Tom Green, a variety of scripted series, as well as editing a series for the UFC. Throughout his career he has worked on documentary, lifestyle, reality, and scripted programming for broadcasters and streaming platforms in Canada and internationally.
In addition to editing, Jay has worked as a director, producer, post-production supervisor, and production manager, bringing extensive experience in both the creative and technical aspects of content creation. His work is characterized by a strong focus on storytelling, visual design, and audience engagement.
Today, he continues to develop original television concepts, digital media projects, and independent productions while remaining active in film and television post-production.
